ABOUT
EGARCIGU (Eduard Garcia) is a freelance illustrator and digital artist born in Barcelona and based in London since 2006.
A self-taught artist, he mixes his hand-drawn and inked pieces with digital brush strokes. Well defined lines and frequent explosion of colours are a constant in his work, often exploring his interests in the beauty and the figurative, people and everyday things.
His illustrations have been exhibited in Ourense (Spain) and several times in London (UK).
He has been featured in the books ‘ILUSTRADORES ESPAÑOLES ('Spanish illustrators’) by Mario Suarez from Lunwerg Editorial and ‘ILLUSTRATED WORLD. BARCELONA'S ILLUSTRATION SCENE’ by Marta Rodriguez Bosch, from Gustavo Gili Editorial.
